Who am I?
Ciao, I am Jenn. I am a daughter of the King, Creator of the universe. I've been a Christian for a long time, but recently, I've been delving deeper into discovering more of God's character within the first 3/4 of my Bible in a way I've never explored before.
If you're anything like me, you might have grabbed a one-year Bible every December 31 with the ambitious goal of reading through it in a year. However, this year is different for me. Instead of rushing through, I've decided to take a slower, more methodical approach in exploring the Tanakh (the Hebrew Bible) throughout the year. And, I'd absolutely love for you to join me on this journey!
What is ezer/warrior?
ezer/warrior is an independent publication tailored for Christian women who feel overwhelmed by their busy lives and struggle to find time for studying the Bible in a community setting. The constant rush to manage my family's schedule, including practices and games, and the perpetual cycle of laundry, often leaves me feeling swamped.
However, amidst this chaos, I've discovered that the "in-between" moments I dedicate to God's Word serve as a refreshing oasis in the midst of my busyness. Despite feeling like time is slipping away, I've found God stretching these moments of study, turning minutes into hours, and hours into extended periods of soul-quenching studying. The more I immerse myself in understanding Him, the more my busyness transforms into intentional pauses solely focused on diving deeper into His teachings.
Why subscriptions and memberships?
Back in 2017, I stopped using social media. Now, as I start this journey to bring women together in community to study through the Bible… I am wondering… HOW do I find them!? I didn’t want to make YouTube videos. I didn’t want to create content to beat the algorithm and make it to your newsfeed.
So, call me old fashioned but… I started with the women I’ve met in my life. I sent out a link to my site to family, friends and co-workers and I asked them to share with their family, friends, and co-workers.
By becoming a subscriber to new posts, you get new content delivered straight to your inbox, so you don’t have to open your web browser, remember the URL, and navigate to the last post you’ve read to pick up where you left off... by subscribing, I deliver new contact directly to you And I hope it makes life easier for you.
By signing up as a paid member, you’re supporting me as an independent publisher for Christian content. You'll get access to join the conversations and comment on members-only posts, you’re also kicking our relationship up a notch with newsletters that include Bible study resources and insights into what I’ve been learning, and there’s also a community of women who you can join in with to study and pray together.
Join a community of other subscribers who share the same desire to seek God through studying His Word. This is a place for busy women who think they are too busy to study the Bible and find a community to be connected to and invested in. You are not alone. You are not too busy for what God has for you because Jesus says His yoke is easy and His burden is light.
Your support helps me to continue building this platform and community, and to keep this as an ad-free site where we can focus on learning God's Word.
Patrons welcome
The idea of requesting patronage is uncomfortable. I like being self-sufficient, self-made, all the self-things that the Western world wants me to pursue. But, the Gospel moved as far as it did because of patrons like Phoebe. So, I humbly request an opportunity to speak with you about becoming a patron for this women’s Bible study ministry.
Paul wrote, “I commend to you our sister Phoebe, a servant of the church at Cenchreae, that you may welcome her in the Lord in a way worthy of the saints, and help her in whatever she may need from you, for she has been a patron of many and of myself as well.” (Romans 16:1-2)
She moved the ministry forward with her means. She carried and read Paul’s letter to the Romans! If you want to channel your inner Phoebe to help me build a community of women studying the Bible, please consider becoming a paid member of this community.
If you are interested in supporting this platform and what it costs to simply maintain it, please donate to ezer/warrior.
Thank you for your faith in me as I start this journey and thank you for partnering with me in building this community of women who delight in God’s Word and commandments.
